Summertime!!

Well, we have been keeping pretty busy over here....

helping out around the house

unpacking and organizing

cuddling and watching a little bit of tv in the air conditioning

playing outside in the sandbox and pool

MEXICO

So I am a little late in posting about Mexico, but our vacation was AMAZING!!! It was extremely hot, but not so bad when you're either in the pool or ocean for most of the day! We had great weather, but it did rain almost every day. The good thing was that the storms were very short and the weather usually went right back to beautiful and sunny!

We enjoyed some great food and time together celebrating our 6 years of marriage!! I was so excited to finally be in Mexico and my grin here shows it all :)

We ate at different restaurants on the resort every night and the food was DELICIOUS!!! I am sure I gained some weight while being there, but it was worth it!!

We also took one day trip to Chichen Itza - it was amazing, but a little disappointing that we couldn't climb any of the buildings or structures.

One of my favorite parts of the day trip was actually our stop at Ik Kihl, a cenote which is a natural freshwater well. We got to climb down to it and then Brett and I jumped in together. I also took a second jump on my own because I enjoyed it so much!! Here is a video of me jumping, I am at the top of the stairs - there's also someone who jumped lower on the stairs right before me!! I didn't do any flips or dives, but jumping was a pretty good thrill!!

Thanks to the grandparents for taking great care of our boys - we were not worried at all....can't wait to plan a return trip!!
